All classes are run as a nine week block.
The cost for the nine weeks is $120.

Class Descriptions (All classes last approx. 75 min.)
All classes are a combination of the latest Pilates and yoga techniques except the "Total Body Stretch" class which does not have any strength component.
Level 1
This class is an introductory class in which you will learn the fundamentals of the contract/relax technique (sometimes known as PNF)
and how to apply this to the deep muscles of the lower back, hips, neck, shoulders and the spine. Flexibility in these areas will
enhance your ability to move smoothly and freely and help you become or stay pain-free for a lifetime.
This course is also designed to strengthen and create balance in the core of the body. You will learn techniques to strengthen the
deep abdominal muscles, the lower back and the pelvic floor (important for men as well as women).
Benefits include: greater strength and flexibility through all parts of the body; improved posture; the ability to utilise your deep
abdominal muscles (not generally exercised by the standard sit-up); solid control over the pelvic floor muscles and abdominal toning.
Level 2
This class builds on the work covered in Level 1, utilising more advanced techniques. This is a class designed to create and maintain good levels of strength and flexibility in the body. It is appropriate for those people engaged in regular physical activity.
Total Body Stretch
In this class, stretches and yoga postures will release tension and emotional blockages in the muscles. This will facilitate the free flow of blood and energy through the body, balance the aspects of Yin and Yang and allow the body and mind to approach a state of harmony and relaxation. The aim will be to stretch every part of the body each week, building on the techniques used in Levels 1 and 2.
